Digital Empowerment Academy Programs:
■ Digital Activist Teen Program~ Youth ages 13-19 learn to use digital media and coding as a tool for community activism and social justice. This group meets bi-monthly on Saturdays for 12-18 weeks. Teens are provided with opportunities to be tech mentors in the community. This program culminates in an Annual Digital Empowerment Youth Conference. This program is done in partnership with CodeSavvy
■ STEAM Jr.~ Youth ages 7-12 explore basic coding and art as a tool for expression and innovation.
Participants in STEAM Jr. will meet monthly and participate in a summer camp
W.O.K.E- Women Operating in Collective Enterprise~ this is a digital activist program specifically for girls ages 14-18. This program typically meets either once a week or twice a month. Girls learn about positive self identity and community advocacy via digital engagement.
